Peter Wilson, Gosford City Council

Peter Wilson is currently the General Manager of Gosford City Council, a position he has held since 1995.  He joined the Council in 1990 as the Director - Works, and during this time has been actively involved in planning and economic and tourism development through the Council and as a director of the Central Coast's economic and tourism bodies.

Peter has obtained qualifications as a Civil Engineer, Town Planner and Local Government Manager and together with his thirty two (32) years in local government, at various councils, it places him in a strong position to speak on the Central Coast and the opportunities for the region.

He believes the strength and future of the Central Coast depends on a united voice, a regional focus, co-operation and building on these opportunities.

Peter is participating in the panel discussion:  Business & Industry Briefing - Regional Opportunities for the Central Coast, hosted by Tony Sansom, NSW Department of State & Regional Development.
