Peter has been Chair of the Central Coast Area Consultative Committee for 6 years - a Federal Government appointment.

The Federal Government is currently reconstituting the organisation under Regional Development Australia and changing its previous function to Regional Development and the possible administration of Federal Grant Funding.

Peter is currently a Councillor of Gosford City Council, Chair of its Finance and Integrated Planning Committee, Chair of Central Coast Tourism, the Chairman of Red Shield Appeal.  Formally CEO of Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club for 23 years, overseeing the planning, financing, developing and first 3 years of operation of the Outrigger - now Mantra Resort, Ettalong - a 230 room Strata Titled Hotel with project value of $95m.
