Cash Flow Tips from David Wilson

1. If your business is making a profit you should have a positive cash flow. If you don't, just like Monopoly, do not pass go - you need help now.

2. If you do not understand the 5 business funding options (loans, bank overdraft, vendor funding, self funding and debt equity) what have you and your accountant been doing?

3. Cash flow is not just your bank account; it is all of the above.

4. You need a cash flow forecast that was not invented by a rocket scientist that helps you manage your business.

5. If you spend more time on your ‘profit and loss’ than your cash flow, that’s probably why you’re running negative cash flow.
